so.... let's guess how far I walk during my adventure

Always wondered how much I walk each year during the show..... well this year... the answer will be apparent....

Just to spice things up a bit we'll have two small contests in the blog this year....

At the end of day 1 Tuesday night, i'll call for guesses on how many miles I've walked.... (if there's a tie breaker... which I can't imagine.... closest guess on total calories burned wins).

the winer of day 1 gets a 25 dollar gift cert. (i'll also post the mileage to give the rest of you a fighting chance for the friday prize)

Then we'll do it again for total trip mileage on Friday...

Again a 25 dollar gift cert will be provided to the best guess....

Thanks to Kathryn for providing me with the pedometer.  It's made by omron - so you damn well know it's probably accurate.

EDIT:  yes - i am well aware that there is an app for this....  HAVE YOU SEEN THE BATTERY LIFE ON THE 4s...  I need to keep as few apps running as possible.  On a good day - i can torque the cell in the better part of 6 hours.  Plus, i'm certain - as with all things technology.... dedicated hardware is always the best way to go.
